Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at Dead River Company. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting petroleum products to our operations and commercial accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues to dispatch.
  • Load and transport petroleum products to delivery destinations, adhering to federal and state regulations and company policy.
  • Utilize computerized technology to track deliveries and manage logistics.
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck, stocked with necessary tools and equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and promote a positive corporate image.
Requirements
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker and hazardous materials endorsement.
  • CETP training and certification for propane transportation.
  • Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical and undergo random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Dependability, commitment to customer service, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

This role requires frequent driving in various weather conditions, with occasional exposure to fumes, noise, and vibration. You must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and pull a delivery hose.
