Position Overview

AHP Management Corp is seeking a dedicated Community Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in overseeing the daily operations at our residential community, ensuring that we meet our financial and occupancy targets while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies, including Fair Housing and ADA standards.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a motivated team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
  • Conduct regular inspections of units and common areas to uphold maintenance standards and safety protocols.
  • Assist in the formulation of the annual budget, focusing on maximizing revenue and controlling costs.
  • Implement effective marketing strategies to maintain high occupancy rates.
  • Manage emergency situations effectively, ensuring safety and proper documentation of incidents.
  • Oversee financial transactions, including accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accurate bookkeeping.
  • Maintain detailed records of community assets and prepare reports on budget variances for management review.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to budgeting, purchasing, and staff scheduling, while stepping in for other roles as needed.
  • Supervise compliance with affordable housing regulations and assist with annual audits.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  • At least two years of experience in property management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of management principles, including strategic planning and team development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit regulations and landlord-tenant laws.
  • Ability to obtain relevant certifications within the first year of employment.

  • Complete in-house training within the initial months of employment.
