Job Summary:

The Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) is a vital member of our care team, providing exceptional support to our residents in a compassionate and respectful environment. As a NAR, you will work closely with our licensed nurses to deliver high-quality care and assistance to our residents, promoting their physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as eating, toileting, and mobility, to promote independence and dignity.
  • Document resident care and observations accurately and thoroughly, ensuring that all necessary information is recorded and communicated to the care team.
  • Participate in restorative and maintenance nursing programs to help residents achieve their highest level of function and independence.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Follow universal precautions, infection control guidelines, and safety standards to ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
Requirements:
  • Currently registered as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant registry.
  • Prior nursing experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
