Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) invites you to become a part of our team as an Electromechanical Assembly Specialist 4 (Weekend 1st Shift) located in Salt Lake City, UT.


Key Responsibilities:
Utilize schematics and blueprints to create initial layouts and operate hand tools effectively.

Perform continuity tests on both in-progress and finished work.

Conduct quality assessments on the production line to ensure compliance with quality standards.


Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and evaluate experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under controlled conditions.


Alert the team leader or supervisor regarding any issues that may hinder production timelines or lead to potential quality concerns.

May involve working with adhesives, chemical cleaners, coatings, and other standard manufacturing chemicals.

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of relevant experience.

Intermediate computer proficiency required.

Experience in soldering is essential.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs is necessary.

Strong attention to detail is a must.

Availability for Weekend 1st shift (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Familiarity with electronics is preferred.

Possession of a current Solder J-STD or IPC solder certification is a plus.

Salary Range:
$54,400 - $90,600
