Job Overview:

The Manufacturing Assembly Specialist is responsible for executing a variety of tasks within designated teams, projects, or operational areas. The role typically involves engaging in comprehensive production manufacturing activities, which encompass non-routine and diverse electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical assembly tasks. This position also includes quality assurance and reliability testing in accordance with established protocols and methodologies. Responsibilities further extend to production scheduling and control, along with the coordination, planning, and facilitation of material, parts, and assembly flows. The specialist may also oversee and validate quality standards in alignment with statistical process controls or other regulatory procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficient use of basic hand tools and fixtures is essential.
  • Adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines when handling chemicals and other hazards is required.
  • Capability to lift a minimum of 32 pounds is necessary.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend blueprints and shop orders is critical.
  • Competence in following and delivering both written and verbal instructions is expected.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including measuring ratios by weight and volume, are required.
  • A commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment is essential.
Qualifications:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a 2-year post-secondary/associate degree with at least 4 years of related experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is advantageous.
