Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Assembler Specialist to join our team at L3Harris Technologies. As an Electronic Assembler Specialist, you will be responsible for performing multiple tasks on assigned teams, projects, or functional areas, including non-routine and non-repetitive production electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly and testing of electronic components and systems
  • Use hand tools and fixturing to assemble and repair electronic equipment
  • Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process control procedures
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance program quality, cost, and scheduling
  • Provide training to less experienced team members
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 1 year of prior related experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment using hand tools, performing assembly and/or repair work
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop orders
  • Ability to follow and give written and verbal instructions
  • Basic shop math including measuring ratios by weight and volume
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • J-STD-001 solder certification and WHMA-A620A
