We are seeking an Advanced Mental Health Care Specialist to join our team. This individual will provide outpatient advanced mental health care in partnership with one or more supervising physicians.

Responsibilities and Duties

">
  • ">
  • Assess and diagnose patients' mental health needs.">
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.">
  • Conduct thorough examinations and document findings in electronic health records.">
  • Prescribe medications and administer immunizations as necessary.">
  • Provide patient education, guidance, counseling, and/or psychotherapy as part of treatment plans.">
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and treatments.">
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.">
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.">
  • Current certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).">
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) licensure.">
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.">

Estimated Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 per year
