Job Summary

Glen Oaks Hospital is a private mental health hospital in Texas, offering a relaxed and healing environment for adults and seniors. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and providing continuous care and supervision to patients of various ages.

Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care and supervision under the direction of a Registered Nurse
• Assist with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
• Interact and role-model positive behaviors for patients
• Participate in the treatment team and contribute to patient care planning

Requirements:
• High School Degree or equivalent required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
• Degree in social work, recreational therapy, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in psychiatric patient care
• Valid driver's license
• Completion of Handle with Care (HWC) and Verbal De-escalation training
