Job Description

We are seeking a skilled RN - Registered Nurse to join our team in an inpatient mental health facility in Greenville, NC.

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon admission and throughout their stay, using standardized tools and clinical judgment to evaluate patients' psychiatric conditions.
  • Medication Management: Administer psychiatric medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for side effects, effectiveness, and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Implement therapeutic interventions, such as individual counseling, group therapy, and crisis intervention techniques, to help patients manage symptoms and achieve treatment goals.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to develop individualized care plans for patients.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A degree in Nursing from an Accredited University
  • An active, current, and in-good-standing NC nursing license
