Job Opportunity: We are currently seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Broadstep Behavioral Health in Simpsonville, SC.

We offer $16 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals looking for a fulfilling career in mental health support. As a member of our team, you will be working with a multidisciplinary group of professionals to provide comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness, and co-occurring disorders.

The Role:

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and adolescents in our residential treatment facility. As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily activities, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration. You will also accompany them on outings and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Additionally, you will be required to document behaviors, activities, and incidents, utilizing your excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to the clinical team.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Pass a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB test
