Position Overview:
As the Head of Creative, you will work closely with your team to spearhead the conceptualization of video content across various client platforms. The ideal candidate will approach the creation of concepts and designs with careful consideration and strategic insight. Your expertise in motion graphics will be pivotal in crafting engaging visual narratives. You will bring a positive and enthusiastic attitude to a diverse array of projects while also taking on the responsibility of mentoring your team in both technical skills and creative growth. Your role will often involve writing, sketching, designing, animating, and presenting, sometimes on a frame-by-frame basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide teams of designers, animators, writers, and production artists with empathy and ambition to produce exceptional video content within set timelines.
  • Develop concepts both independently and collaboratively.
  • Present ideas thoughtfully to both internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Provide visual reference materials and documentation that effectively communicate concepts.
  • Ideate and produce video content from scripts while adhering to client and agency brand standards.
  • Continuously seek optimal solutions to creative challenges.
  • Collaborate with creative and production teams to identify opportunities for improvement in existing client work and internal processes.
  • Stay updated on advancements in software relevant to CG and video production.
  • Lead internal initiatives aimed at enhancing processes and creative output.
  • Maintain organized documentation of your work to facilitate collaboration.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in video production, graphic design, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional, client-focused environment, creating broadcast-quality motion graphics for various screen formats.
  • Ability to develop concepts and designs that align with strategic briefs.
  • In-depth understanding of storytelling through motion graphics, video, and audio.
  • Comprehensive skills across all stages of the production process, with a refined design sense for integrating motion with 2D, 3D, and experiential branding.
  • Expertise in After Effects and familiarity with popular plug-ins.
  • Advanced knowledge of Cinema4D, including render passes and compositing 3D elements within After Effects.
  • Experience with post-production environments and graphics workflows involving AE, Premiere, and Cinema4D.
  • Comfortable with Adobe Premiere/Final Cut and basic editing practices.
  • Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • A demo reel showcasing your work is required.
