Position Overview:
As the Head of Creative, you will work closely with your team to spearhead the conceptualization of video content across various client platforms. The ideal candidate will approach the creation of concepts and designs with thoughtfulness and strategic insight. Your expertise in motion graphics will be pivotal in crafting engaging visual narratives. You will bring a positive attitude and enthusiasm to a diverse array of projects while also mentoring your team in both technical skills and creative growth. Your role will involve a mix of writing, sketching, designing, animating, and presenting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide teams of designers, animators, writers, and production artists with empathy and ambition to produce exceptional video content within set timelines.
  • Develop concepts both independently and collaboratively.
  • Effectively present ideas to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Provide reference materials and documentation that visually communicate concepts.
  • Generate and execute video content from scripts while adhering to client and agency brand standards.
  • Continuously seek optimal solutions to creative challenges.
  • Collaborate with creative and production teams to identify opportunities for improvement in existing client work and internal processes.
  • Stay updated on advancements in software relevant to CG and video production.
  • Lead internal initiatives aimed at enhancing processes and creative output.
  • Maintain organized records of your work to facilitate collaboration with team members.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in video production, graphic design, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional, client-focused environment, specializing in broadcast-quality motion graphics for various screen formats.
  • Ability to develop concepts and designs that align with strategic briefs.
  • Deep understanding of storytelling through motion graphics, video, and audio.
  • Comprehensive skills across all stages of the production process, with a refined design sensibility for integrating motion with 2D, 3D, and experiential branding.
  • Expertise in After Effects and popular plugins.
  • Advanced proficiency in Cinema4D, including knowledge of render passes and compositing 3D elements within After Effects.
  • Strong grasp of post-production environments and workflows involving AE, Premiere, and Cinema4D.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere/Final Cut and basic editing techniques.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • A demo reel is required.
