Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Freelance Video Editor to join our team and help us create custom videos for our clients. As a Freelance Video Editor, you'll be responsible for editing kick-ass videos that tell compelling visual stories, creating and customizing professional After Effects graphics, and collaborating with clients and team members to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit high-quality videos that showcase our clients' products, services, and stories
  • Create and customize professional After Effects graphics, including motion graphics, animations, and visual effects
  • Choose engaging music, sound effects, and sound bites that enhance the overall viewing experience
  • Implement creative decision-making to ensure our videos stand out from the competition
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project deadlines are met and expectations are exceeded

Requirements

  • Must have a reel or portfolio of work that demonstrates your skills and abilities as a video editor
  • Must own and be proficient with Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder
  • Must own a Mac or Windows-based PC or laptop
  • Ability to use screen recording software like Camtasia
  • Able to work with After Effects templates and create custom graphics
  • Must have experience working on content that appeals to wide audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
  • Must know how to work with green screen backgrounds and edit with green screen footage
