Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at Avamere at Oak Park. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Answer and direct phone calls, manage resident lists, and handle incoming calls to residents.
- Greet visitors, provide directions, and offer information to guests, residents, and sales representatives.
- Ensure all visitors adhere to facility rules, use ID badges, and maintain the sign-in/out log.
- Support the Administrator and Department Directors with administrative tasks.
- Contribute to a warm, patient, and enthusiastic atmosphere.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with additional education or secretarial training preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a clerical position, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- 1+ year of customer service experience.
- Proficiency in general office equipment and computer systems.
- Professional appearance and reputation to represent Avamere.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination preferred.
