Aviva Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative II to join our team. As a key member of our dental front office, you will be responsible for scheduling patients, preparing charts, and assisting in providing care to patients as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Enter patient packet data and scan documents, verifying accuracy and updating patient charts and files as needed.
- Register patients at appointment time and complete documents, assisting patients as needed to ensure completion.
- Screen new patients for eligibility, collect financial and demographic information, and prepare patient charts.
- Schedule patient visits and calculate individual patient charges for services.
- Collect payment and explain payment process, recording receipts in the practice management system.
- Explain treatment plans and answer all telephone calls, making courtesy confirmation calls as needed.
- Attend in-services and other required meetings, maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.
- High school graduate or equivalent education.
- One-year clerical experience in a dental care setting preferred.
- Knowledge of Practice Management, Electronic Dental Records, dental terminology, and office practices and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills required.
- Monday - Friday scheduling.
- Paid holidays.
