Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and select technical factors and equipment to obtain optimal quality scans.
  • Operate portable ultrasound equipment and assist physicians with various recommendations for obtaining optimal studies.
  • Deliver patient care and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Prepare ultrasound rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • ARDMS Registry eligible and successful completion within first year of employment.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods.
