We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist CNS to join our team at destinationone Consulting. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist CNS, you will serve as an expert clinician, educator, and consultant within a specialized area of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide advanced nursing care and expertise in your specialty area, assessing and diagnosing patient conditions.
- Develop and implement evidence-based care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and coordinating care across the healthcare team.
- Educate nursing staff and other healthcare professionals on best practices, clinical procedures, and new treatments within your specialty.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research, and data analysis to enhance patient care and nursing practices.
- Act as a resource for nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers, offering consultation and support on complex cases.
- Advocate for patients and families, ensuring they receive comprehensive care and support throughout their healthcare journey.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR).
- Stay current with advancements in nursing and healthcare practices, pursuing ongoing education and certification opportunities.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on a clinical specialty.
- Valid state RN license and certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS).
- Previous experience in a clinical nursing role with a focus on the specialty area preferred.
- Strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills.
