Job Summary

Dignity Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Mercy San Juan Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns in the NICU
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide education and support to families and caregivers
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing required
  • Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Current California Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) certification, with a specialty in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU), required
  • Five (5) years of clinical experience as an RN in NICU (Level III) required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current RNC certification preferred
  • Two (2) years of experience as a NICU CNS preferred
Pay Range

$83.51/hour
