Cardiac Sonographer I

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer I to join our team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. As a key member of our Heart Station, you will be responsible for performing quality echocardiograms and creating preliminary reports. Your expertise will also be utilized in assisting with interpreting imaging for each study.
Key Responsibilities- Reviews physician orders and verifies patient/procedure information to perform echocardiograms.
- Prepares and processes echo studies for interpretation.
- Assists in training of Cardiology Fellows performing Pediatric Echocardiography.
- Monitors equipment during procedures for malfunctions and notifies appropriate personnel.
- Inventory and supplies management to maintain adequate stock levels.

Requirements- Certificate from a college program or technical school.
- Related field experience - no experience required.
- Required certifications: Registered Cardiac Sonographer in adult echocardiography or pediatric echocardiography, or become registered within 12 months of graduation.
