Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our children, in accordance with state and local health department regulations.
  • Manage food inventory and supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are ordered and received in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the preparation and serving of meals and snacks, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Collaborate with our teaching staff to ensure that our children receive a well-rounded and nutritious diet.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and academy events as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.

Requirements:

  • Must have/maintain Food Handler's Certification as required by state or local regulations.
  • Previous experience in a food service setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record preferred.
  • Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality.
  • Highly professional and dependable.
