Job Summary:

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a highly skilled Research Data Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing data management services for faculty, residents, and medical students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with IT staff to utilize optimal programs and platforms
  • Attend weekly meetings to stay updated on advances and upgrades
  • Administer, design, analyze, implement, and maintain database structures
  • Coordinate with Surgery faculty and research staff to resolve data problems
  • Develop and implement administrative, automation, and data integration scripts

Requirements:

  • 8+ years related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Clearances:

  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Background Check
