About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team at UHS. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating activities related to wound care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Wound Care Programs: Create and implement wound care programs that meet the needs of our patients and align with industry standards.
  • Coordinate Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of care and effective communication.
  • Maintain Current Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest wound care guidelines, standards, and best practices.
  • Lead the Wound Care Committee: Chair the Wound Care Committee, scheduling monthly meetings, developing agendas, and managing meeting activities.
  • Oversee Wound Care Studies: Ensure the completion of hospital-wide wound care studies and quarterly reporting to the Quality Improvement Committee.
  • Provide Clinical Resource: Serve as a clinical resource for wound care patients, providing direct patient care and rounding on patients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 Years' Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
  • Wound Care Experience: Experience in wound care program coordination, planning, implementing, and evaluating outcomes.
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's Degree required, current license to practice professional nursing in the state of California, and current basic life support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
