We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Corona Rehabilitation Hospital as a Wound Care Registered Nurse. This is a full-time, day shift position that requires a strong clinical background and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services in support of patients with wounds and related skin breakdown.
- Perform in-depth wound assessments, treatment methodology, and evaluation of products and current plans of care.
- Consult with Providers and provide consultation and training to the nursing staff.
- Guide and support patient care staff using the Braden Scale for risk assessment and provide appropriate instruction on the care of patients using evidence-based practice and products that support wound care and healing.
- Act as a clinical resource for all team members for wound interpretation and guidance, while maintaining an expert level of skill in this area.
- Current California Registered Nurse license required.
- Current BCLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
- Current Certification as Wound Care Nurse (CWON, CWCN, CCCN, CWOCN).
