Job Title: Nuclear Propulsion Division Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Propulsion Division Engineer to join our team in Newport News, VA. As a key member of our Maritime Operations group, you will provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks, including gathering, maintaining, and formatting technical data, producing engineering documentation, and performing detailed mathematical calculations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks
  • Gather, maintain, and format technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes
  • Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings, and flow charts
  • Perform detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas
  • Use personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years' experience
  • Or High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years related (DoD/USN) experience
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Requirements:
  • Actively pursuing a n ABET accredited engineering bachelor's degree
  • Shipyard nuclear propulsion and/or work controls experience
