Refugee Resettlement Program Case Manager

RAICES is seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our Refugee Resettlement Program team in San Antonio, TX. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to refugees and other displaced persons, ensuring their successful integration into the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management services, including pre-arrival arrangements, housing coordination, orientation, and basic needs enrollments.
- Deliver Cultural Orientation to all adults in the case load within 90 days.
- Ensure timely requests for cash assistance in accordance with federal guidelines.
- Document all visits and case management activities.
- Arrange transportation for newly arrived clients to initial appointments.
- Assist clients in engaging in activities that promote self-sufficiency and independence.
- Identify needs and barriers, and communicate follow-up to case managers and Program Manager as needed.
- Maintain organized case files and submit required information in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years' experience working with refugee populations and/or community services.
- Ability to communicate professionally in English, both written and oral.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record and insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in education, training, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years' experience in social services and/or non-profit field.
- Fluency in one of the languages spoken by clients, preferably Spanish, Dari, Swahili, Pashto, or Arabic.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of G-Suite and/or Microsoft Office and ability to learn to utilize an internal case management database.

Hybrid Work Plan:
- Employees are expected to live within the assigned geographic location to commute to and from the office or assigned on-site location(s) as business or client needs require.
- Currently, all interviews are virtual.
- All positions will require working remotely and in-office at the assigned work location.
