The Venice Suites is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized service to hotel guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Process guest arrivals and departures, handling check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Manage guest accounts, handling payments and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members, providing timely and knowledgeable responses to inquiries.
- Operate the PBX equipment, handling incoming and outgoing calls, and assisting with wake-up calls.
- Control cash and credit transactions, maintaining complete responsibility for personal bank as specified by hotel policy.
- Process guest mail, messages, and faxes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Contribute to and maintain established information and communication sources, enhancing department communications and operations.
- Provide assistance to other team members and departments, contributing to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
