Soliant Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our team. As a TVI, you will play a critical role in providing specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students in a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans to meet the unique needs of visually impaired students
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' visual needs and adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies accordingly
- Teach students skills related to visual impairment, including orientation and mobility, independent living skills, and assistive technology use
