We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team at The Goddard School of Charlotte (Mallard Creek), NC. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum, leading daily activities, and inspiring young minds.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum and Instruction
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster a love of learning.
- Observe and assess children's development, adjusting activities accordingly.
- Classroom Management
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage daily routines and transitions smoothly.
- Address behavioral issues with positive guidance and support.
- Family Communication
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities.
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences and provide regular updates.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and common areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Professional Development
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
