Chief Financial Officer

Location: Pataskala, OH

We are currently in search of a qualified candidate for the CFO role at a prominent manufacturing firm within the Greater Columbus region, boasting around $100M in annual revenue and backed by private equity. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with a competitive salary starting at $250K.

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a rapidly growing lighting enterprise. Your responsibilities will encompass managing all financial dimensions of the organization, delivering strategic guidance, and safeguarding the financial integrity and sustainability of the business. The ideal applicant will possess a robust background in financial oversight and a proven history of driving financial strategy and operational excellence. This position is ideally suited for a proactive, dynamic leader who is passionate about making a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate financial data for monthly, quarterly, and annual closures
  • Conduct monthly financial statement evaluations and prepare reports for the Board of Directors
  • Oversee daily treasury operations, cash flow management, and budget planning
  • Assist with reconciliations, journal entries, and provide additional support as necessary within the accounting department
  • Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and financial systems
  • Foster and maintain relationships with investors and financial institutions
  • Lead a team of approximately 14 professionals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior finance roles, with substantial expertise in financial management and strategic planning
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing or distribution sector is preferred
  • Experience managing multiple entities; familiarity with international operations is advantageous
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and reporting obligations
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and drive teams towards achieving objectives
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the capacity to make informed business decisions
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail, committed to accuracy and integrity
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while effectively managing multiple priorities
