Registered Nurse Med Surg Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Fairview Park Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse licensure and a Bachelors Degree or Associate Degree in Nursing are required.
