Job Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for managing a book of business comprised of key and high-revenue-producing accounts. This role involves leading the overall service, recommendations, and implementation of insurance business, as well as business development and sales with new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Make major decisions independently on books of insurance business
  2. Work closely with Producers and other HUB personnel on client service, marketing, and renewal
  3. Oversee preparation and implementation of transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts
  4. Acquire understanding of clients' insurance objectives and analyze insurance plans to determine suitability
  5. Act as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve complex service issues
  6. Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads
  7. Manage, organize, and conduct client meetings
  8. Document conversations with clients and carrier representatives
  9. Travel on company business as required
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in an insurance Account Management role
  • Demonstrated proficiency in required lines of insurance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superior customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work a regular, full-time schedule and travel on business as required
