Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Packaging Associate to join our team at Altium Packaging. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of materials and finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Properly package materials and finished products to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Load, move, and operate packaging equipment to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines to prevent production delays.
  • Inspect the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Perform bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines, to identify any defects or quality issues.
  • Escalate any bottle abnormalities, defects, or quality issues to management promptly.
  • Monitor supply levels of packaging materials and replenish as needed to maintain efficient production processes.
  • Ensure correct labeling, bottle description, and packaging of product in accordance with specific customer requirements.
  • Move finished goods to designated areas and maintain inventory levels to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts.
Requirements
  • Basic mathematical skills and basic computer experience.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date.
Work Environment

The Production Packaging Associate will work in a fast-paced production environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and loud noise levels. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
