Position Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at RCO Management INC is tasked with collaborating closely with the finance team to oversee all facets of the organization’s financial reporting operations. This includes the preparation and dissemination of the company’s consolidated and individual financial statements, managing the annual external audit process, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, accounting principles, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) efforts, including the development and maintenance of a robust financial projection model.
  • Conduct in-depth financial assessments of physician practices, focusing on profit and loss (P&L) evaluations, revenue cycle management, cost control, profitability analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations aimed at enhancing financial performance.
  • Work in partnership with IT and other departments to design real-time dashboards that track practice performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Extensive financial experience supporting a network of multiple physician practices, specifically overseeing a portfolio of over 25 practices.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in a financial role, with a strong background in managing complex multi-entity P&Ls, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

  • Proven ability to think strategically while remaining adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Capacity to manage competing priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with various departments across the organization.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting standards, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Adept at diving into detailed financial data while maintaining a focus on overarching business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and persuasively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with MS Office and financial management systems.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics.

Performance Management:

Oversee financial performance management at the business unit level, providing insights, measuring success, and guiding leadership on opportunities for improvement.

Support the CFO in articulating current and projected financial performance to stakeholders, and prepare executive leadership for discussions with key stakeholders.
