Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer position reports directly to the President of the Diocese of Santa Rosa. This role is responsible for providing the President with detailed financial forecasts that enable strategic planning and goal achievement.

This position oversees the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets in collaboration with the Accounting Manager. The Chief Financial Officer also ensures the accurate financial and endowment accounting for the Angela Merici and John Henry Newman Foundation.

Key responsibilities include providing detailed financial reporting to the Foundation's board and coordinating annual audits through the President and Accounting Manager.

This is an exempt position, requiring 30-40 hours of work per week.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Strong financial planning and analysis skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Accounting Manager
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting
