Job Overview

Position Summary: As the HVAC Operations Manager at Lion Home Service LLC, you will be pivotal in directing the service operations and leading a skilled team of technicians. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the prompt and effective delivery of HVAC solutions to our customers while upholding exceptional standards of service quality. Your extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, coupled with strong leadership capabilities, will be essential in driving the performance of our service department.

Key Duties:

  • Inspire and oversee a team of HVAC service professionals, offering mentorship, training, and support to foster high performance and career growth.
  • Manage daily service operations, including technician scheduling, dispatching, and coordination, to guarantee timely service delivery.
  • Track and manage service requests, ensuring precise documentation, prioritization, and resolution of issues in line with company policies and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and quality assurance checks on completed service tasks to ensure compliance with specifications, safety protocols, and customer satisfaction.
  • Design and implement preventive maintenance strategies to enhance the longevity and efficiency of HVAC systems, reducing downtime and repair costs.
  • Collaborate with other divisions, such as sales and installation teams, to align project requirements and provide technical insights for seamless service execution.
  • Oversee inventory management of parts, tools, and supplies, ensuring sufficient stock levels and timely restocking to support service operations.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, technological innovations, and regulatory updates in the HVAC sector, applying best practices to improve service offerings and ensure compliance.
  • Address customer concerns, resolving issues swiftly and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and superior service.
  • Prepare and review service reports, financial metrics, and performance indicators, providing regular updates to senior leadership and suggesting improvement strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in the HVAC sector, with a solid background in service and maintenance of both commercial and residential HVAC systems.
  • Experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity, showcasing effective leadership, team management, and a results-driven approach.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications related to HVAC systems.
  • Strong grasp of safety regulations, codes, and compliance standards relevant to the HVAC industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, technicians, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including HVAC service software and the MS Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
