Sandbox Solar LLC is a rapidly growing solar company with ambitious plans to become the most respected and admired solar company in the nation by 2027. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our HVAC/Climate Solutions division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans, short-term and long-term goals, KPIs, and performance metrics for the HVAC division.
  • Team Management: Foster a positive company culture within the HVAC division, recruit, train, mentor, and manage the HVAC team.
  • Project Management: Oversee all HVAC projects, heat pump installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and compliance.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary technical expert on heat pump systems, providing guidance and support by staying up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues with exceptional service.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards in the installation and operation of heat pump systems.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the HVAC division's budget, forecasting, expense tracking, and cost control measures for cost optimization and revenue growth.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ICC Mechanical License, NATE and EPA 608 Certification, and OSHA 30.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of HVAC experience with a focus on heat pump systems, with progression to a management level job in an HVAC company for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Driver's License: Valid CO Driver's License and a clean driving record, with the ability to maintain both.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to climb and use ladders safely, and lift HVAC equipment.
  • Work Environment: Willingness and ability to work long hours (+/- 10) outdoors in Colorado weather.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills with demonstrated success inspiring and motivating teams to achieve goals.
  • Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in heat pump design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Bonus Points
  • Experience in energy auditing or energy modeling.
  • Experience in plumbing.
