Job Overview

Colegate Heating, Inc. is in search of a skilled HVAC Service Technician. We welcome applications from both experienced professionals and apprentices. The successful candidate will be tasked with the upkeep and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in various environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular maintenance on HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues to provide effective solutions.
  • Manage service calls, including obtaining approval for repairs, ordering necessary parts, and executing system repairs.
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.

Effective communication is essential, as the technician will need to stay in contact with dispatch, supervisors, and clients regarding each assignment.

Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility to operate company vehicles post-training.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in HVAC maintenance and/or repair.
  • Current EPA certification or a commitment to obtain one.
  • Willingness to assist with HVAC system replacements when necessary.
  • Knowledge and capability to perform system commissioning and start-ups.
