Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Sales Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing technical support to our customers in the engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Provide technical and sales support for customers, including product development, application engineering, and technical service.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for customer needs.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers and potential clients.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, industry influencers, and strategic partners.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably in materials handling.
  • Proficiency in Auto Cad, Material Handling, Industrial Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Machine Design.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and other events.
  • Professional sales training or certification would be a plus.
