Industrial Automation Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Sales Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing technical support to our customers in the engineering industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Provide technical and sales support for customers, including product development, application engineering, and technical service.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for customer needs.
- Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers and potential clients.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, industry influencers, and strategic partners.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments to identify opportunities for growth.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products and services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably in materials handling.
- Proficiency in Auto Cad, Material Handling, Industrial Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Machine Design.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and other events.
- Professional sales training or certification would be a plus.
