Position Overview:
The Department of Developmental Biology is on the lookout for a passionate and driven Junior Research Scientist in Life Sciences to join our innovative team. This role is designed for individuals eager to explore the complexities of cell lineage development and adaptability during mammalian embryogenesis.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute and manage experiments, analyze results, and engage in discussions with team members to interpret findings and troubleshoot methodologies.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop novel tools aimed at understanding tissue resilience mechanisms and embryonic responses to various challenges.

• Oversee laboratory management tasks, including maintaining inventory, organizing supplies, managing safety records, and supporting mouse colony upkeep.

• Assist in the orientation and training of new personnel or students in laboratory techniques and protocols.

• Continuously review scientific literature to stay updated on emerging methodologies and apply insights to ongoing research projects.

• Contribute to the publication process by preparing protocols, presentations, and research articles as necessary.

Desired Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in a Biology-related field.
• Familiarity with molecular biology techniques, including DNA cloning, PCR, and RNA handling.
• Experience in mammalian cell culture and flow cytometry is advantageous.
• Basic computational skills, particularly in Python programming, are preferred.
• Experience with mouse handling is beneficial but not mandatory; a strong interest in biological sciences is essential.
