Job Title: Water/Wastewater Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our team at Garver Engineering. As a key member of our Water Design Center, you will be responsible for managing projects related to water and wastewater treatment facilities, including design reports, studies, and technical memoranda.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
  • Collaborate with municipal clients to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Lead project teams, including coordination with other support disciplines and regulating agencies.
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Travel periodically for projects, conferences, marketing, and other duties.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 4+ years of experience in design and construction of municipal water and wastewater facilities.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles related to water and wastewater facility projects.
  • Basic understanding of multi-disciplined practices required for water/wastewater facility improvements.
  • Strong communication and client service skills.
Preferred Skills and Attributes:
  • Master's degree in civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical, biosystems/agricultural, or related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Certification as a Pump Systems Assessment Professional.
  • Professional Engineer Licensure (PE) in several states, including TX, OK, NM, AZ, CO.
  • 10+ years of experience with municipal water and wastewater related design.
  • 5+ years of experience leading project teams.
