The Fertilizer Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of fertilizer blending and loading processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Blending and Loading: Blend and load fertilizer formulations according to established recipes and quality control standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems, forklifts, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and shipping fertilizers and other materials.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or production environment, preferably in a role involving equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; basic math skills and attention to detail.
