Fertilizer Blender

The Fertilizer Blender is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe blending and loading of fertilizer formulations in a warehouse and distribution environment.

• Blend and load fertilizer formulations according to established recipes and quality control standards.
• Maintain conveyor systems to ensure smooth and efficient material flow.
• Unload railcars and trucks of fertilizer and store them in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in fertilizer storage and loadout areas to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor and maintain run-off systems to prevent environmental hazards.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned by the leader.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Customer service oriented with ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy machinery.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.

The work environment for this position is a typical warehouse and distribution environment with moderate to loud noise levels. The employee will regularly work near moving equipment and mechanical parts and may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards, and electrical shock.

The employee will be required to lift or move up to 100 pounds and will be regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
