About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team in Little Rock, AR. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading provider of professional management, administrative, and healthcare services to government agencies.

Job Summary

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining journals or subsidiary ledgers of an accounting system, balancing and reconciling accounts, and processing financial transactions. They will also prepare necessary documents for new agreements, develop and maintain tracking spreadsheets, and process quarterly accruals for all active open agreement obligations.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Reviewing invoices and statements submitted by partner organizations, verifying information, reconciling accounts, and submitting properly completed invoices and payment checklists.">
  • Maintaining hard copy and e-files, ledger balance sheets, and ensuring properly documented and coded transactions are charged against the correct funding obligation line.">
  • Preparing necessary state level documents for new agreements, working closely with partners to develop statements of work, budget narratives, and completing required budget forms.">
  • Developing and maintaining tracking spreadsheets and budget tracking sheets, working closely with the Financial Management Specialist to ensure agreements are tracked and obligated timely.">
  • Processing quarterly accruals for all active open agreement obligations.">
  • Assisting partners and ensuring receipts of properly completed quarterly SF 425 reports.">
  • Processing agreement close-out documentation, including fund de-obligation requests.">
  • Responding to audit calls with accurate and timely information.">
  • Providing excellent customer service to external and internal customers.">

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a high school degree or equivalent experience, possess a valid state-issued driving license, and be proficient in word processing and computer software applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Access. Knowledge of accounting principles and processes, as well as agency-specific software, is preferred.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
