About the Role

Community Outreach Specialist

This role involves generating sales leads for potential Medicare-eligible seniors, managing them through the pipeline, and nurturing relationships with community partners, health plan agents, and independent brokers. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing local community events to attract seniors and drive sales leads into the funnel.

The ideal candidate will have strong public speaking and presentation skills, as well as experience working with the senior population. Consultative selling skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. CRM experience, preferably in Salesforce, is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a productive sales plan to achieve new patient goals
  • Plan and execute local community events to reach target audiences
  • Generate leads through prospecting, building, and maintaining relationships
  • Educate potential patients on our services at local events and through health agents
  • Deliver exceptional sales and customer service to prospects, patients, and community partners
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years outside sales experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Insurance brokers with Medicare and Medicare Advantage knowledge are preferred
  • Experience working with the senior population is preferred
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • CRM experience, preferably in Salesforce

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
