About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team at Shoes For Crews. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the credit granting process, managing the cash application process, and driving the organization's collections strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage a Team: Lead a team of Credit, Collections & Cash Application Representatives, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Credit Granting Process: Oversee the credit granting process, creating credit scoring models for risk assessments and ensuring timely and accurate credit decisions.
  • Collections Strategy: Drive the organization's collections strategy, improving collections efficiencies and reducing bad debt.
  • Cash Application Process: Manage the cash application process to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer payments.
  • Liaison and Communication: Act as a liaison between sales, customer service, billing, IT, and customer personnel on key credit and collection issues.
  • Process and Compliance: Maintain and document processes and departmental compliance, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of management experience within Accounts Receivable, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Skills: Extensive experience with credit analysis, advanced data analysis, and Excel skills; experience with complex billing and CRM; excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, people, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
