The Brewery Sales Representative is a key position within our organization, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our most valuable retailers and consumers. This role is a critical component of our sales and marketing strategy, and the successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and increasing distribution across key accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our craft beer products, pricing, and commercial strategy.
- Account Management: Build and maintain key relationships with our most valuable retailers and consumers, with a focus on increasing distribution and volume across key on-premise and off-premise accounts.
- Sales Strategy: Implement sales strategy and targets using aligned brand priorities with wholesalers, while assisting in achieving expected results.
- Data Analysis: Utilize selling and data tools to build comprehensive selling stories for retail accounts, and review target account analysis and reports to ensure brands are performing at the top of class levels for all assigned accounts.
- Event Execution: Execute events and promotional activities, including evenings and weekends, to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with state's wholesaler network, and coordinate brand information and supply POS material to support sales efforts.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to product quality, distribution, and sales performance, and develop creative solutions to drive business growth.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business, or related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Distribution, Outside Sales, Food/Beverage, or related industry.
- Certifications: Certified Cicerone or Certified Beer Server licensing preferred.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with a strong understanding of craft beer and brewing process.
- Travel: Ability to travel within territory, with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
