Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Event Sales Manager to drive our corporate event sales initiatives. This role is essential in generating revenue through effective sales strategies and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Duties (including but not limited to)

  • Earn commission based on 2% of sales generated.
  • Prior experience in outside sales is essential.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required.
  • Engage in the solicitation of both promotional and corporate event orders.
  • Conduct outreach to local businesses, providing food samples and event information.
  • Act as a liaison with venue management to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Contribute to the planning and organization of in-house promotional events.
  • Research and analyze markets to identify potential event opportunities (Cold Calls).
  • Maintain fiscal accountability for achieving budgeted sales goals.
Administrative Duties

Administrative Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Finalize month-end financial records, ensuring all event orders are processed and revenues are accurately allocated.
  • Assist the Director of Events with all sales inquiries and website communications.
  • Prepare and submit a Weekly Events Sales Report detailing: last week's revenue, projected revenue for the upcoming week and month, current month-to-date revenue, year-to-date revenue, new business strategies, sales initiatives, cold calls, and events hosted or attended.
  • Manage event bookings for designated locations.
  • Input event order information into the shared Management Database (including event date, client contact details, etc.).
  • Generate event quotes for clients.
