Position Summary:

The Banquet Server is responsible for the setup, service, and cleanup of events, ensuring that guest expectations are not only met but exceeded.

Compensation: $22.50 per hourKey Responsibilities:
  • Maintain communication with supervisors throughout shifts to ensure operational efficiency and address any concerns.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and be consistently available for scheduled shifts.
  • Assist in event setup and reset according to specifications provided by supervisors, coordinators, or guests.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide assistance as needed.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness in both front and back of house.
  • Participate in pre-event roll call meetings to familiarize with event details, aiming to surpass guest expectations.
  • Prepare banquet areas as instructed, ensuring attention to detail with linens, service ware, and glassware.
  • Welcome guests warmly and respond to requests in a courteous manner.
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with supervisor guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Efficiently clear dishes as guests finish each course.
  • Follow all regulations regarding alcohol service.
  • Monitor beverage levels and check on guest satisfaction regularly.
  • Execute post-event cleanup as per supervisor instructions.

  • Ability to treat guests and colleagues with respect.
  • Demonstrates integrity and honesty.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions and standard operating procedures.
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Maintains high grooming standards in line with company policies.
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Willingness to assist coworkers and work collaboratively.
  • Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and navigate crowded spaces.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid Riverside County Food Handler's Card.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid ABC RBS Certification.
