Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled Project Architect to join our Healthcare Practice Group. This role is pivotal in driving the successful delivery of architectural projects, particularly in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the project delivery process for mid-to-large scale projects, both domestically and internationally.
  • Collaborate with other leading professionals to ensure that design and documentation meet project expectations.
  • Lead a team of architects in delivering high-quality project outcomes.
  • Engage in building and site design activities, including analysis, planning, and technical development.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supervise the development of construction documents, ensuring quality control and effective detailing.
  • Manage project specifications and coordinate with specification writers as necessary.
  • Produce comprehensive construction documents.
  • Coordinate with subconsultants throughout the project phases.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Facilitate project scheduling and staffing to meet deadlines.
  • Participate in construction meetings and prepare necessary field reports.
  • Conduct construction observations, respond to RFIs, and prepare change bulletins as needed.
  • Drive issue resolution and enhance project quality through effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by building trust with clients.
  • Engage in strategic discussions with local leaders regarding team dynamics, growth opportunities, and target clients.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of technical delivery standards and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 5-8 years of experience in architectural design, specifically within the healthcare sector.
  • Proven experience with California's Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI).
  • Professional registration in the State of California is required.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Understanding of sustainable design principles and LEED accreditation.
