Job Title: Lead Business Systems Analyst

GalaxEons is seeking a highly skilled Lead Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success through the analysis and implementation of business systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Lead Solution Architect to modernize.NET applications and drive business value.
  • Facilitate Requirement Elicitation sessions with internal and external stakeholders to gather business needs and identify gaps.
  • Analyze and interpret functional and non-functional requirements, applying mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios.
  • Develop and manage business requirement collateral across the SDLC stages.
  • Create reference documents, user guides, and other collateral to support our products and solutions.
  • Document functional requirements and assess complexity for applicable projects.
  • Formulate and define business requirements and use cases.
  • Work closely with cross-functional client stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
  • Research, gather, articulate, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Utilize TSQL, SQL, and Office Tools to create business-driven data and reports.
  • Act as a liaison between developers, operations, and product management teams.
  • Prepare help and support documentation.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in business or systems analysis, including involvement in large, complex software modernization efforts.
  • Required management consulting experience and previous work as a business analyst in a financial software or service development company.
  • Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries and manipulate data effectively.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Tableau, Confluence, Clarity, and MS Office.
  • Experience in large modernization and transformation projects, with strong technical knowledge in software development.
  • Proficiency in data profiling techniques to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with globally dispersed teams.
Desired:
  • 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry preferred.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science Degree.
